ARGUMENTS AGANST TRIALS. By Telegraph. —Press Association. Auckland, Jan. 30. The chairman of the Auckland Rugby Union, Mr. H. Frost, supports Mr. J. Prendeville, chairman of the Wellington Rugby Union, in holding that All Black trials should not be held on account of the difficulty of players in obtaining leave. Mr. Frost says that the records of the Australian .tour last season, the.interIsland game on September 28, and tho New Zealand v. Maoris match on October 2, should provide the main foundations.
