The weather will be mainly fair at first, but there will be a renewal of unsettled and showery conditions later, more especially in eastern districts of. the South Island. Temperatures will be cool. Winds will be between west and south, moderate at first, but freshening later. Seas will be smooth to moderate except north .of .Farewell Spit and of Ca'stle Point. 7 ’ ’
