T.J.C. AUTUMN MEETING. ACCEPTANCES TO-MORROW. The committee of the Taranaki Jockey Club is making complete arrangements to ensure the success of its autumn meeting, which opens on Thursday next and concludes on Saturday. As the outcome of the favourable weather conditions' and the special attention that has been given it by the club's custodian, the track is in excellent racing order. Indeed, it is questionable if it has ever been better for an autumn meeting. Arrangements are being made to cater for the needs of visiting trainers and their charges, of which it is expected there will be a larger number than usual at this meeting. With the starting' and judging in expert • hands owners and trainers need have no hesitation in accepting, particularly as eplendid stake money is attached to each event. Secretary C. B. Webster can confidently expect a busy time between now and 9 p.m. to-morrow, the time set for the closing of acceptances.
