Thp offerings largely consisted of fine to superior scoured Merinos and New Zealand crossbreds, for which there was an improved Home and Continental demand, with firmer prices in the Merino section. ■ Queensland scoured Eddington combings sold at 2s. 9|d.; superior clothing fleece at 3s. 5d.; Victorian greasy Springvale brought Is. Old.; New Zealand greasy crossbred, Waioma,' brought Is. 3»;d. * There was a good representative selection of all grades of Merinos and a splendid offering of New Zealand crossbreds. There was a better tone all round, there being a larger attendance and stronger competition, with fewer withdrawals. Prices ■were fully maintained. New Zealand greasy crossbred clips brought: M.P., top price, 12Jd., agerage Hid.; R.F., Hid. and 10jd.
