TRAGEDY IN WAITAKI RIVER
ELECTRIC LINESMAN DROWNED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Oainaru, Jan. 24. K. D. Richardson, Government electric linesman, of St. Albans, Christchurch, aged 35, a married man with no family, was drowned in the Waitaki River this morning. He was wading out to the central tower when he was carried downstream. His body has not yet been recovered.
