The Progress loaded at Lyttelton on Thursday for Wellington, and is due at New Plymouth about Monday. The vessel will go to Port Waikato on Monday. (Holm and Co.). The Totara arrived at New Plymouth yesterday morning. The vessel returned to Wellington yesterday and is due back at New'Plyymouth to discharge 25 tons ,of general cargo. She will return to Wellington and Lyttelton. (U.S.S. Co.). The Kahika, from Oamaru, Thnaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton, Nelson, arrived at New Plymouth yesterday with 560 tons of general cargo for discharge. She sails to-day to Wellington and Dunedin. The Ngapuhi, with 42 passengers and 220 tons of general .cargo, arrived at New Plymouth early yesterday morning ! from Onehunga and berthed at the New- ; ton King wharf. She left at 7 o’clock last -evening for Auckland, being due here again early on Tuesday morning, MAHANA LEAVES NEW PLYMOUTH, i — - ; The Shaw, Savill steamer Mahana arrived at New. Plymouth early on Wed-; nesday morningj and loaded 20,000 boxes of butter, 7000 crates of cheese and 18,000 carcases of meat. The vessel completed, discharge yesterday afternoon and departed at midnight for Wellington. She will leave on January 27 for Napier to complete loading. She is to clear Napier on January 31 for London, vsa the Panama Canal. . TURAKINA AT NEW PLYMOUTH. ( . j The Turnkina left , Wellington • on j Thursday to load at New Plymouth and Lyttelton, returning them - 4:0 Wellington., From that port she will proceed to Bluff and Port Chalmers, - and is to sail from the Otago port on February 20 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via Panama Canal. The vessel arrived at New Plymouth yesterday morning, berthing at the Moturoa wharf, and will take 13,000 boxes of butter .and 7500 crates of' cheese. The Turakina is scheduled to depart for Lyttelton about Tuesday.
CHARLBURY WITH PHOSPHATES. The Charlbury, loaded with phosphates, arrived at Auckland on Friday after a stormy trip. After unloading the Auckland consignment of her cargo the Charlbury sailed for .New Plymouth last night to complete discharge. She will put out about 2000 tons at New Plymouth, being due her early Monday morning. OTAKI WITH NEW YORK CARGO. With cargo from New York for dis--charge atAuckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin'the New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Otaki left Panama on Wednesday for Suva and Auckland. The vessel is due at Auckland on February 12. i NORTHUMBERLAND AT CURACAO. j En route from Liverpool to Auckland, ■ the Federal Line’s steamer Northumberland sailed from Curacao on Wednesday, i The vessel left Liverpool on January 4, and is due at Auckland on February 10. On her maiden voyage, the latest of the New Zealand Shipping Company’s three new motor-liners, the Rangitane, arrived at Wellington from London and Southampton at 7 o’clock last night. The vessel has passengers and mails for New Zealand and general merchandise for Wellington and Auckland, and she is due at Auckland for discharge on February 1. ... HERMINIUS FOR LOADING. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Line’s steamer Herminius will leave :Dunedin next Friday to load at Wanganui, New Plymouth, Wellington, Napier, Gisborne and Auckland, The vessel will arrive at I Auckland on February 19 and is announced to sail finally for New York, Halifax and London, via Panama, on: February 25. The vessel is due at New Plymouth on February 6. KARAMEA FROM AUSTRALIA. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Line’s motor-ship Karamea, at present unloading cargo from England in Australia; •will arrive at New Plymouth on February 10 to commence her homeward loading. She will continue loading at Napier, Gisborne and Opua before going to Auckland on February 2’2, The vessel will sail from Wellington on Marcli 6. CITY OF WELLINGTON DUE. According to wireless advice, the steamer City of Wellington is due at Auckland from New York to-morrow morning.
