LOWER COST OF LIVING
SLIGHT DECLINE RECORDED. British Wireless. Rec. 5.5 p.m. Rugby, Jan. 17. A slight fall in the cost of living is recorded in the monthly return of the Ministry of Labour, which states that at January 1 the average level of commodities was approximately 66 per cent, above that of July, 1914. The corresponding figure for a month ago and one year ago was 67 per cent.
