WOMAN'S CONDITION IMPROVING. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. There has been no development regarding the mysterious disappearance of J. L. Davies, who loft his home in Edendale on Tuesday afternoon and whoso coat and hat were found on the foreshore of the harbour on Wednesday morning. Further search was carried out by the police, but no trace of Davies was found.

The condition of Mrs. Cubitt, who was found unconscious near tho man’s clothes, with which was her coat, showed a slight improvement to-day and she was semi-conscious.
