AGREEMENT ON REPARATIONS

Rcc. 12.25 a.m. Washington, Dec. 28. The Treasury Department to-day announced that an agreement had been reached between the United Stales and Germany for the settlement of all reparations claims arising out of the war. The department would submit the agreement to congress for approval. The execution of the agreement is contingent upon the coming into effect of the Young plan and meanwhile the United States retains all its existing rights to American reparations. Claims on account of the army of occupation and the mixed claims of American citizens total approximately £90,000,000.
