Wairuna (5832 tons) left Los Angeles November 16 for Lyttelton, Dunedin and New Plymouth; due New Plymouth to-day to discharge 2000 tons of general Pacific Coast cargo. She proceeds to Wellington, Napier, Auckland and Suva, en route to the Pacific Coast. (U.S.S. Co.) Port Darwin (8170 tons), is duo at New Plymouth on Thursday to commence loading for the Homo markets. She will take 15,000 boxes of butter and 9000 crates of cheese from New Plymouth. The vessel will continue at Wanganui, Wellington and Lyttelton. (Collett and Co.). Cornwall (10,616 tons), arrived at Wellington last Thursday from Auckland. S'e will proceed to Lyttelton, Dunedin and New Plymouth; duo New Plymouth next Monday to' discharge and load. The Progress arrived at New Plymouth from Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington on Friday and sailed, on Friday night for Port Waikato. (Holm and Co.)

The Kaimanawa is to load at Dunedin on January 4 for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Nelson and New Plymouth. She is due at New Plymouth on January 12 and will proceed later to Westport. (U.S.S. Co.). WAIRUNA EXPECTED TO-DAY. The Wairuna is expected at New Plymouth from Dunedin at daylight today to discharge 1600 tons of cargo loaded at Pacific Coast ports. She is expected to complete by Thursday night and sail for Wellington. She will afterwards go to Auckland, where she will dock -for cleaning and painting. CORNWALL” FROM DUNEDIN. The Federal Line steamer Cornwall is expected to leave Dunedin on Saturday for New Plymouth. She is due at New Plymouth on Monday next to complete discharge of 1600 tons of Liverpool cargo. The vessel will commence loading here for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow’, by lifting 1500 boxes of butter, 2300 crates of cheese and 10,650 freight carcases of meat. She will subsequently load at Wanganui roadstead, Wellington, Gisborne, Napier and Auckland, and is to sail finally from Auckland on February 6 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow. NARBADA WITH EASTERN CARGO. Advice has been received by the Union Company that the Narbada, en route from Calcutta, Penang and Singapore, cleared Sainarang last Monday for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin and Bluff'. The vessel is scheduled to reach Auckland on Friday, and Wellington on January 8. PHOSPHATES FROM MOROCCO. With a cargo of phosphates for New Zealand tho steamer Rio Dorado left Casablanca, Morocco, on December 8, and is due at Auckland on January 19. The vessel will also discharge at New Plymouth and Wanganui. Sho is due at New Plymouth about January 25. WINTON FOR NEW PLYMOUTH.

The steamer Winton will load at New York in January for New Zealand ports, including New Plymouth, the Union Steamship Company being the vessel’s New Plymouth agents. The vessel is scheduled to sail from New York on January 25 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Ne Plymouth. She is due at New Plymouth about the middle of March. THE RANGITATA AT AUCKLAND. On her maiden voyage, the New Zealand Shipping Company’s new motorliner Rangitata arrived at Auckland from London and Southampton last evening with passengers, mail and a heavy consignment of general cargo. The vessel will be despatched for Wellington to complete discharge about January 7. GOLDEN CROSS FROM LOS ANGELES After an uneventful trip across the Pacific the American steamer Golden Cross arrived at Auckland from Los Angeles on Friday afternoon. The vessel loaded case oil, timber and general merchandise at Vancouver, Seattle, Tacoma, Astoria, Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles, clearing the lastnamed port for New Zealand on November 30. It is hoped to dispatch her on Saturday for Wellington and Lyttelton, where she will complete discharge. RIMUTAKA’S STORMY VOYAGE. Shortly before 6 o’clock on Friday morning the New Zealand Shipping Com■pany’s liner Rimutaka arrived in the stream at Wellington from London and Southampton, via Panama Canal. Immediately after leaving Southampton the Rimutaka encountered a north-westei ly gale with high seas, which continued for six days, after which fine weather prevailed till arrival at Colon on the morning of December 3. Fine weather continued in the Pacific Ocean until last Tuesday, when a westerly gale -.nd high seas were met with. 'lhe Rimutaka sailed from Wellington on Saturday for Port Chalmers, Lyttelton and New Plymouth to complete discharge of cargo.
