London, Dec. 20, ' The Geneva correspondent of the Mail states that , with the arrest • at.; Zurich and Basle of 24 men and women, including a doctor and two chemists, the 5 police are believed to have unmasked a gang of drug traffickers who are operating all over Europe. After a report from the Egyptian® police that vast quantities of drugs| were reaching Egypt from Basle, th?, police arrested a German chemist. search of his laboratory revealed the manufacture of heroin and cocaine-, derivatives was being conducted on;-•»> huge scale. The drugs were exported, camouflaged as colouring matter. Arrests have also been made in many, France, Italy and Egypt
