HERD TESTING.

Sir, —Your Waitoitoi correspondent’s figures regarding herd testing in Friday’s News would be interesting if the complete figures had not already been published. He omitted to mention that the top herd belonged to Motunui, and with regard to the highest producing cow I do not wish to beat Waitoitoi for any credit due to it, but there must be some mistake as a cow in the same Motunui herd produced 731bs for the same period. —I am, etc., NIKORIMA.
