PILLION RIDER INJURED

AUCKLAND MAN UNCONSCIOUS. By Tclcgrapli.—Preaa Association. Auckland, Last Night. Severe injuries to the head and concussion were sustained by Herbert Darwin, a single man, as .the result- of his being thrown from a motor-cycle on which he was pillion-riding in Mount St. John Avenue, Epsom, this afternoon. He was taken to. the Auckland hospital and had not regained consciousness this evening. The rider of the machine escaped uninjured.
