Taking oil' in a choppy wind, from the Urunga golf Jinks to-day a Gipsy Moth plane crashed and was burned. The owner-pilot, Menzies, and a friend passenger, Walters, had a- narrow escape. Menzies freed himself but. Walters was rescued with difficulty as the splashing petrol from the tank took fire and burned fiercely. Both men suffered slight burns.
