GAY FROCKS AT THE RACES

TARANAKI JOCKEY CLUB MEETING • a> - _ .YELLOW SHADES PREDOMINANT. The! lawns at the New Plymouth race- . Course were very gay at the opening of the Taranaki Jockey Club’s meeting yesterday. Yellow was the fashionable colour in frocks and hats, while georgette and floral crepe-dc-chine were predominant.
