U.S.A. COMPANY LACKS CAPITAL. THIRD BIG INSOLVENCY IN WEEK. Bj Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. New York, December 19. With the announcement to-day of the bankruptcy of the International Com‘bustion Engineering Corporation, 'with a capital of £8,600,000, the third and largest insolggncy the week occurred. The American Piano Co: pany, one of the largest producers of the instrument in America, with a capital i” excess of £600,000, and the Sonora Corporation, a noted producer cf phonographic devices, were the other concerns involved. The combustion firm is reported to be solv:it, but unable to obtain necessary capital. The concern entered a receivership in equity following an application filed by the Beth 1 he:.i Steel Company.
