CYCLIST ESCAPES INJURY. 1. : .By Telegraph.—Press Association.-- • Palmerston N., Last Night. While proceeding on a bicycle over a crossing at Longburn this afternoon John Donoghue, a, freezing works employee, was struck by the Auckland express. He was thrown clear, no bones being broken. It was a miraculous escape. A heavy wind was probably responsible for Donoghue not hearing the train.
