GERMANY DENIES ARMING
TRENCH CHARGES REFUTED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Berlin, Dee. 16. The Defence Minister, Herr Groener, ridicules the French charges made in the Chamber of Deputies. He said he could not help smiling at the apprehension of the world’s most strongly armed nation concerning Germany, which had no modern equipment. “We have adhered strictly to the prescriptions of the Versailles Treaty and have made absolutely no preparations for chemical warfare.”
