THREE MEN SUFFER INJURY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. Three carpenters were injured when a low scaffolding in front of a new building in the course of erection in Symonds Street collapsed this afternoon. James F. Brou n, aged 33, who was working on the scaffolding when it gave way, was thrown heavily on to his head, sustaining concussion of the brain and bruises on the head and body. Two men who were working below at the time, George Bishop, aged 53, and William E. Walker, aged 49, had their left hands crushed by falling timbers, but after treatment at the hospital they were able to go home.
