BANNER COMPETITION GAMES.

Bowling matches in connection with the banner competition in the central division were continued in fine weather yesterday. Playing on the ■ Stratford green the Stratford Club' defeated Eltham by 33 points, while at Avon the home team defeated Tariki comfortably. Rain in the early morning made the greens rather heavy, but warm sunshine quickly brought them to keen bowling pitch. Inglewood had a bye.
