TOUCHED 35,000-VOLT WIRE. By Telegraph.—Frees Association. Dunedin, Last Night. - An electric linesman, named Arthur Benton, single, aged 40, and- residing in Dunedin, was engaged with two, other workmen this afternoon at Maungahau, near Mosgiel, putting a transmission line on to the main line from Waipori to Dunedin when he was electrocuted. The new line, was being hauled across the main line, which, was.carrying 35,000 volts. Benton’s liahd came in contact with the bare' wire.
