MALOLO REACHES AUCKLAND

TOUR OF PACIFIC BY AMERICANS. By Telegraph.—Press Assort.tion. Auckland, Last Night. The luxury liner Malolo, which is making a tour of the Pacific, arrived at Auckland from Sydney this morning. The trip was promoted by the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce to enable business men to come into personal contact with the peoples of the Pacific. There are 350 Americans on board; women are in the majority. The men include leaders in business and professions from various parts of America. The Hon. J. G. Cobbe represented the Government at the official welcome. Half the visitors left for Rotorua this morning and the other half will go there to-morrow. A comprehensive programme of sight-seeing has been arranged. The Malolo will leave for Suva on Tuesday night.
