For the second time in a week Sofia is on strike against the reparation demands. All factories, shops and banks are closed. For three and a-half hours crowds demonstrated in front of the foreign legations against the Allies’ demands for half a million sterling yearly for 36 years, whereas Bulgaria offers £460,00'0 conditional on a five years’ moratorium.
