SENTENCES AT GISBORNE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Gisborne, Nov. 20. Mr. Justice Ostler, in the Supreme Court, imposed a sentence of five years’ Borstal detention on William Clement Dearness, aged 17, and John Herbert Edward Little, aged 17, who pleaded guilty to eight charges of burglary. A young Maori woman, Ane Poi, was admitted to probation for 12 months for concealment of birth. John Nicholas Barbara was acquitted! on two charges! of an offence 'against a native girl. /
