Mrs. Kate Meyrick,. the so-called “nio-ht club queen,” who was sentenced to 15 months’ hard labour in January for bribery of a police officer, is suffering from serious heart trouble, because : of which/ application has been made to the Home Office for her release in order to permit special attention. She ha# beep in the Holloway gaol since February.
