LESS MIGRATION TO AUSTRALIA. By Telegraph—Press Assn— Copyright. London, November 11. Mr. W. R. Smith (Under-Secretary to the Board of Trade), in answer to a question in the House of Commons, stated that during the four months from June 1, 1630 British subjects had left Britain to take up permanent residence in Australia, compared with 7947 for the same period of 1928.
