NEW COMMISSIONER’S’ SALARY. r LARGER OFFER. NOT ACCEPTED. '■ r . The New South Wales Government had offered Mr. j. W. Cleary, the new Chief Railway Commissioner a salary of £7500, but Mr. Cleary declined a larger salary than his predecessor (Mr. Fraser) received, namely, £5OOO.
