DEFINITE NEWS OF TOUR. NAMES OF COMING VISITORS.

Definite information concerning the tour of New Zealand next February and March by a party of British, South African, and Canadian farmers, has been received by Mr. E. K. Cameron, secretary of the South Taranaki provincial executive of the Farmers’ Union. It has been decided that the visitors shall travel' through-the Dominion as one party. . The South African contingent of about ten will arrive at Auckland on February 18 or 19, and will visit North Auckland. The British party will arrive on February 20, and will be joined by the South Africans. Together they will leave on February 23: for Rotorua, where they will later'be joined by the 15 Canadians, who are expected to reach Auckland on February 23. The whole party will number about 80. The visitors will remain in New Zea-

land until March. 25, and will spend near-

ly three days in Taranaki. On Friday, February 28, they will motor from Waitomp to New; Plymouth,, arriving at 1 p.m. On the. following day, at 1.50 p.m., they will move to Stratford, making a short stay before leaving about 7.30 p.m. for Hawera, where they will spend Sunday. On Monday, March 3, they will proceed by the mail train to Wanganui. In each centre the Farmers’ Union will make arrangements for the entertainment of the party. The Railway Department is arranging hotl accommodation for the visitors. A handbook will be issued for their information, containing historical notes on the districts visited, and farming statistics.

Bolter has recovered from a severe illness and has resumed duties. Mr. and Mrs. MteCallum, New Plymouth, were recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. McNeil Adams, “Glen Dhu.”

Mr. Murray Adams, who recently broke his arm while cranking a car, has made a good recovery and is at work again. Mr, George Herbert, formerly a resident of Otakeho, who has been on a visit to his brothers at Otakeho, has eturned to his home at Dunedin.
