In view of the persistent German suggestions for a re-allocation of mandates, assumedly in a desire to regain Southwest Africa, a resolution has been adopted by the East African Chamber of Commerce requesting the Labour Ministry to reaffirm the declaration of the Rt. Hon. L. C. M. S. Amery, then Secretary for the Dominions, that Britain has no intention of reliquishing any mandates.
