Oct. 12. ji; fn the Magistrate’s Court Arthur Jeffrey Durrant, aged 40, was sentenced to four months’ hard labour on each of six charges of issuing valueless cheques. The sentences were cumulative. The offenees occurred at Nelson, Palmerston North, Napier, and Hastings.
