IMPROVEMENT IN : EXPORTS. (British:Official- Wireless). ■ 'Rugby, Oct. 11. The Board of Trade returns issued today show that exports for the first rine months of thisi-year amounted in value to £543,411,000, -i.as compared with £534,953,000 in the Corresponding period of last year, and; £518,494,000 for the corresponding period of 1927. Imports amounted to. £898,000,000, as compared with ,£886,000,000 and £92,000,000 for C.e first, nine months of 1928 and 1927 respectively.
