TOUR OF BRITISH FARMERS
PROVISIONAL ITINERARY MADE. VISIT TO TARANAKI IN MARCH. The provisional itinerary of the British farmers on their tour of New Zealand in ; 1930 was forwarded from the head office to the executive of the North Taranaki branch of the Farmers’ Union yesterday. The South African members of the party would arrive two days before the main body and, after a visit to North Auckland, would join the British farmers in Auckland on February 20. The visitors may travel in one party over the same route or split into two groups with varying itineraries. If they decide to travel all together it Is suggested that they arrive in Te Kuiti on March 1 and proceed to New Plymouth the same day. In New Plymouth the visitors will be entertained by the Farmers’ Union at New Plymouth on March 2. On March 3 the visitors will leave for Hawera and will leave Hawcra on March 4 for Wanganui. The union in the various centres \yill arrange for the visitors to see places of interest such as freezing works, dairy factories and stud farms, and for suitable addresses to be given by competent authorities on matters of interest to visitors.
If the visitors divide into groupe, a separate party of 80 British farmers travelling together will visit New Ply-
