ANOTHER PROTEST UPHELD. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Melbourne, Oct. 10. The Warrnambool-Melbourno cycling road race appeal was upheld. The race was awarded to the original winner, Marshall. If. Marshall (6min), Western Australia, finished first but was disqualified for alleged outside assistance. The winner’s time was Bhr 7min 2 l-ssec. Further changes were made in the platings for tho race. Hubert Opperman, who was awarded first place, was disqualified from the race later and was also suspended for one month for boring Nicholson into the crowd at the finish. Nicholson, off tho six minutes mark, was then placed first and awarded the blue ribbon.
