MAGISTRATE’S COURT
JUDGMENTS FOR DEBT. Judgment by default was given by Mr. R. ’W. Tate, S.M., in the following undefended debt claims in New Plymouth yesterday:—C. H. Fyfe v. S. Waller, fl 12s 4d (8s); Frank Dent v. Elsie Toms, f2 7s 4d (costs £1 5s 6d); Govctt, Quilliam and Hutchen v. Rupert George, costs 13s. Regarding the case of A. D. Hall (Mr. J. H. Sheat) v. Helen MeKechnie (Mr. C. White), Mr, Sheat reported that the furniture valued at £74 19s 6d had since been returned. Judgment was entered for the return of the goods, but no costs were allowed. x Arising out of a motor collision, J. Dodunski, who did not appear, wa-s ordered to pay £3 5s (special damages) and £1 3s 6d (costs) to R. J. Pentecost (Mr. 1.-Roy).
