The Progress is due at New Plymouth from Dunedin, Timaru, Lyttelton and • Wellington to-morrow. She will -sail the same’ day for Port Waikato, Wellington and Dunedin, where she is to reload for the same ports about October 19. She is due at New Plymouth again about October 25. (U.S.S. Co.). The John is due at New Plymouth from Lyttelton and Wellington on Sunday. From New Plymouth she will go to Lyttelton and Wellington to reload for this port. (Holm and Co.). NEW PLYMOUTII-ONEHUNGA FERRY The Ngapuhi is due at New Plymouth from Onehunga early this morning with passengers and cargo. She will sail again to-night and will .return on Tues- . day. OAKBANK PUTS OUT ASPHALTUM. With 1000 tons of asphaltum remaining for discharge at New Plymouth the Weir Line motor-ship Oakbank arrived from Wanganui yesterday. The vessel loaded her cargo at Tampico, Mexico, and left there on August 2, She is to sail from New Plymouth to-morrow afternoon. The vessel carries a crew of 43 all told, the officers being Europeans and the erew mdians. Captain J. J. Tullock is in command and the following are the officers: Chief, Mr. L. Leary; second, Mr. D. J. Garden; third, Mr. J. B. Mitchell; chief engineer, Mr. B. Nish; second, Mr. J. McFadyen; junior second, Mr. J. Whitelock; third, Mr. A. Campbell; junior third., Mr. C. Sinclair; fourth, Mr. J. Gunn; junior fourth, Mr. J. Strathearn; wireless operator, Mr. R. Jenkins. Spedding, Limited, are the local agents. PORT MELBOURNE THIS MORNING. The Port Melbourne left Lyttelton yesterday for New Plymouth and is due early this morning to load 11,500 boxes of butter, 10 000 crates of cheese and 14,000 freight carcases of meat. She will probably sail on Tuesday for Auckland, G’ borne, Napier and Wellington to complete. REMUERA'S ARRIVAL POSTPONED. The Rcmuera’s arrival at Auckland was three days later than she was scheduled to arrive and the vessel is not now due at New Plymouth until October 22 to load 1090 boxes of butter and 1500 crates of eheese. KARAMEA DISPATCHED FOR HOMli The Karamea completed loading at Auckland on Tuesday and sailed for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via Panama. The vessel was at New Plymouth last month and loaded 5500- boxes of butter, 3000 crates of cheese and 11,000 freight carcases of meat. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS.
