CONSOLATION NACE ARRANGED. . A consolation race will be run on ■Saturday by the New Plymouth harriers over a course of about six miles, commencing at the racecourse at 2.30 p.m. Most of the club members have entered for the race, though only those who have not secured a place race during the present season count for places. Entries for the marathon race on October 26 and for other running events on that date must be in the hands of the secretary by to-morrow. All members who intend making the trip to the mountain on October 19 are to hand their -.names in to-morrow.
