BODY- FOUND IN RIVER
FATE OF COMPANY’S CASHIER. ' By Telegraph.—Pres* Association. Christchurch, Last Night. The body of Edward Maginness, aged 51 and married, was found in the Heathcote River at St. Martin’s this afternoon after dragging operations had been carried out by the pdliee. Maginnesa was employed as a cashier by the Kaiapoi Woollen Company. He was missing from his home since early this morning, and.- when his hat was found in the Heathcote River the police dragged for the body.
