FURTHER CHARGE OF LIBEL. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Received Oct. 6, 5.5 p.m. Melbourne, Oct. 6. A -writ claiming £lO,OOO has been served on the newspaper Argus at the instance of Union Theatres Ltd., Sydney, for an alleged libel arising from the publication of an election item the headings of -which, it is claimed, w r ere understood to mean the company had corruptly paid money for electric signs for Mr. Marks, a candidate for election.
