THE NEW JUGO-SLAVIA

KINGDOM CHANGES ITS NAME. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Oct. 4, 10.30 p.m. Belgrade, Oct. 3. King Alexander presided at an important Cabinet meeting at -which it was decided to alter the official name of the kingdom to Jogoslavia instead of as hitherto, the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes. King Alexander's idea is to make his subjects feel themselves citizens of a unified state instead of members of semitribal goups. The administration will in future be centralised in nine large territorial divisions instead of as at present in 35 departments.
