ENORMOUS HUMAN FOOT

PRINTS DISCOVERED IN AFRICA. By Tel seraph-—Trees Assn.—Oof'yrlfiht. Capetown, Oct. 1. The Italian scientific expedition returned to Bulawayo and reports the finding of a stone imprint of an enormous human foot at the Limpopo River. Four imprints were discovered altogether of an unknown man showing antliropoidie tendencies. The distance from heel to toe was 31 centimetres (13.38 in and the greatest width of the foot, 14 centimetres (5-Jin). The footprints were distinctly of the human type- and were made by men who were probably responsible for the large stone baud axes found in Africa, which have hitherto baffled scientists.
