NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MAKE SEPARATE RATE. ■ XTOTICE is hereby given that, it is the intention of the Taranaki Electric Power Board at a meeting to be held at its office, Bridge Street, Eltham, on Friday, the 18th day of October, 1929, at 11 a.m., in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in it in that behalf, to make and levy, under Section 64 of “The Electric-Power Boards’ Act, 1925, a separate rate of one and a half pence (lid) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the Capital- Value) of all rateable property in those portions of the Taranaki Electric-Power district, the external boundaries of which are defined respectively (1) in the third schedule to the New Zealand Gazette Supplement of 18th. May, 1922, No. 40, Page 1374, auo (2) in the schedule to the proclamation appearing in the New Zealand Gazette of 20th. May, 1926, No. 31, Page 1313 (excepting . thereout the lands described in the schedule hereof, such lands not being within ten chains from the Board’s mains and or otherwise exempt from rating) such rate to be for the period commencing Ist. April, 1929, and ending on 31st. March, 1930. and to be due and payable in one sum at the Board’s Office aforesaid on the Ist. day of November, 1929.
