The coal seams would be economically worked -and the coal marketed down the Jlokau River, small vessels being able to load; at a wharf on the company’s property. ' Firstly, from the point of view that the capital is small and the working costs do not appear as if they, will be heavy; secondly, Taranaki is using up to 80,000 tons of coal a year and coal will be sold at an attractive price.
