SEQUEL TO DARING ROBBERY
MAN AND WOMAN ARRESTED. LARGE SUM OF MONEY RECOVERED By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Sydney, Sept. 28. Detectives this morning arrested two men and a woman in a house at Glebe and recovered £BB4, which they allege is the greater part of the money stolen from the Norco Butter Company. The woman had the money concealed under her nightdress. The man and his son were charged with robbery under arms, and the-woman with receiving. A message on September 25 said that two bandits wearing masks bailed up John Eddington, assistant accountant of Norco Co-operative Limited, in the city. (After binding him to a chair they took the keys from his pocket, opened the safe and stole £925. .Eddington •was working alone late when the robbers made an appearance, presented ! a revolver, ordered him to sit in a chair, and then tied him hand and foot, rifled the safe and made a get-away. Eddington struggled free' and telephoned the police. Cheques to the value of £3OOO were overlooked in another drawer.
