Rub Hb butter into 11b flour, add j-lb sugar; 2oz candied peel cut up finely: lemon rind grated; two teaspoonsful baking powder, two eggs well beaten, and with sufficient milk to mix to a nice stiff paste. Knead very lightly, make into small buns and bake in a quick oven for about twenty minutes. CHOCOLATE CREAMS. (Sent by Chrissie Stewart.) Take small pieces “fondant," colour and mould into shapes to suit variety required (like bon-bon centres). Dry centres on tray and dip into chocolate.
