Wireless photography and wireless telephony were employed in a remarkable consultation between doctors in Berlin and Buenos Ayres. Dr, Pavis, an Argentinian who is in Berlin, had a photograph of a patient’s eye wirelessed to Professor Castex, a Buenos Ayres specialist, to whom was telephoned an account of the symptoms. The photograph was received clearly and Profesor Castex diagnosed the disease as a fatal case and incurable. Tho patient is unaware that a specialist 8,000 miles away read his death warrant.
