WOMAN’S APPEAL FOR VENGEANCE By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. United Service, London, Sept. 118. The Lahore correspondent of the Daily Mail states that the Duranti tribesmen, who at present are occupying Kandahar, have not met with resistance from Habibullah’s troops, a company of -which mutinied, hoisted Amanullah’s flag and enabled the tribesmen to seize a large quantity of arms and ammunition. It is believed that the appeal for vengeance made by the widow of Amanullah’s brother-in-law, - whom Habibullah executed, stimulated the revolt. The women of Amanullah’s family, who are at present imprisoned

in Kabul, called on the Mohmand tribesmen in the name of Allah to save them from further disgrace and torture at the hands of Habibullah, Nadir Khan, the former Afghan Minister in Paris, is leading the revolt. He has offered a reward of £187,000 to whoever first enters and occupies Kabul.
