Hobbs made 151, completing his 200-0 runs for the season, and Hendred 114. McMillan took six wickets for 106 runs. In the match Kent v. M.C.C., Kent made 206 (Ashdown 50, Todd 57; Kennedy took five wickets for 59 and Newman four for 33). M.C.C. made 190 for four wickets (Hearne not out 88, Gilligan 73).
