CAR CRASHES OVER BANK

ONE OF 11 PASSENGERS HURT.

Christchurch, Sept. 2.

A White Star service car going from Christchurch to Blenheim this morning ran off the road in the Greta cutting, near Cheviot, and overturned twice down a 30-foot bank. There were eleven passengers, including members of the Marlborough basketball team, one of whom received a broken wrist. The rest had a remarkable escape.
