HAWERA’ RIFLE CLUB. Three buttons were fired for by members of the Hawera Miniature Rille Club on Friday night, the results being: — ■Ladies. —Mrs. F. Rae 49, Miss E. Rae 47. Men.—E. Uttinger 50, A. Elgar 49, A. Wilson 49, G. Harding 48, J. Vinten 48, T. Hotter 48. Juniors. —J. Tapp 49, C. Dingle 47, A. Booth 46, A. Thrush 45, The last shoot for Mr. Lester’s trophy was concluded, the final scores witii handicaps being: E. J. Booth, (6%) 2994, Miss J. Rae (9}) 297%, Mrs. F. Rae (7%) 297, G. Harding (114) 205%, A. Elgar (19%) 294%, ’Miss T. Ingram (7i) 294£, Miss E. Rae (8%) 294. Teams championship. —The first and second rounds of the teams championship close to-morrow (Tuesday) night. The match for Miss J. Rae’s trophy commences to-morrow evening. The match will consist of nine shots without a sighter, but with a sealed handicap. Ties will be fired off at a later date.
Mr. W. McMaster’s trophy competition will commence to-morrow with the following conditions: Three rounds of six shots, with optional sighter and handicaps.
