The latest Gazette announces tha transfer of Captain J. A. McQueen (Taranaki Regiment) from the reserve of officers to the First Battalion, with the rank of captain. Lieut. J. W. Bolton (2nd C Battalion) is transferred to the Waikato Regiment. Lieutenant H. J. Keys is transferred from the Waikato Regiment to the Taranaki Regiment, and Lieut. W. R. O. Bredow (Ist Battalion) is transferred to the reserve of officers. Major W. J. Shepherd is posted to th® retired list, with permission to., retain his rank and wear the prescribed unL fnrm -
